PELVIC HEALTH RESOURCES CREATOR

Susannah Haarmann, PT, WCS, CLT

I have been where you are; a new pelvic rehab provider who is nervous to see your first patient, a clinic owner who wants to stand out in your community as the 'go-to' pelvic rehab provider, or an experienced clinician who wants to show your expertise through certifications.

These hard earned professional milestones require a lot of time building up your skills, staying up-to-date on research, and making your clinic memorable by demonstrating excellent care.

Myself and a team of pelvic health experts are here to create more ease in your life & practice. Our resources are created to increase your confidence in patient care, stand out as a business owner, and streamline your path to professional excellence.

I've completed a women's health residency at Duke University, taught the pelvic health series for Herman & Wallace, created the first comprehensive course in breast cancer rehab, passed my WCS, and am a private practice owner. I know how complex these specialty areas can be and how much synthesis of information remains to make it more digestible.

I don't think one person can be an expert in all of it which is why "we are stronger, together."

WHAT PRACTITIONERS ARE SAYING

"Susannah's handouts in the bowel bundle are clear, informative and easy to use. They are applicable to men and women and to many diagnoses and conditions you will treat as a pelvic health therapist. These handouts, are by far, my most used resource. They are absolutely worth the investment."

Beatriz Sunderland-White

"I have purchased both the bowel and bladder books- and they have made my life so much better! As a pelvic floor therapist, it seems like there is never enough time with the patient- these books have taken so much off my plate! They are comprehensive and informative- my patients love them (and so do I!). I love that they are evidence-based and reinforce what I teach in the clinic. I use them daily and truly, truly believe that these are a must-have for any practice!"

Julie Blackner

"The Bladder Book is a must have for pelvic health practitioners. Why reinvent the wheel when you can have your bladder educational materials all in one place. Susannah translates complex medical explanations into fun, easy to understand language that patients can immediately grasp. No more stick figure drawings or shuffling through files, this book will save you time and money in the clinic. It’s worth the investment!"

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

These handouts were created for you to use in direct patient care to streamline education, enhance retention of information, patient compliance, and positive outcomes! You may also use them for small in-person community education events and marketing to local practitioners (if you do this, I recommend purchasing the personalized version of bundles). You may NOT use them for the development of online learning programs, as an adjunct to course curriculums, or upload them to shared electronic medical records within a multi-clinic or hospital setting. These handouts are copyrighted by the U.S. Library of Congress. You must keep the copyright in place on all handouts and they may not be modified.

Personalizing your handouts with clinic information is a fantastic marketing approach for your rehab services as they can be shared with medical providers and friends, encouraging potential referrals! Pelvic Health Resources will add your logo and clinic information to the bottom of every handout; this requires about 2 hours to customize each handout and download them individually to a zip file that we send you. Expect to receive your custom handouts within 5-7 business days from your request; while we are customizing your handouts, you still have access to the non-personalized PDF version available in your Pelvic Health Resources course portal. The cost of the service to personalize each handout for you is $50 for the 2 hour time investment to complete.

Yes! Each bundle comes with individual user rights. If you add a pelvic health practitioner, you can purchase an additional user agreement for that clinician as your clinic grows. If that clinician leaves your practice (they do not retain the right to use the handouts - you do) your new hire replacement may use the handouts. Please come back to Pelvic Health Resources and purchase another user agreement for each new hire; this is an honor system, but we do keep records of user agreements. Thank you for supporting this intensive handout library project!

Digital handouts are the most flexible; you can upload them to a patient's portal, email them to patients, or print an original copy that you can photocopy. Digital handouts are sent to your inbox immediately after purchase so you don't have to pay for shipping! You are more at risk of losing a print copy, however, because printing is performed by an outside service we are unable to keep a record of your purchase; this means if you lose your print version, we will not be able to replace your print bundle.

No, but please tell them about Pelvic Health Resources! I know it may be tempting to share these files with a colleague to use, however, please do not. Creating these handouts is an intense process that requires outlining, research, writing, designing, purchasing images, editing, publishing & updating! And that doesn't even include the costs to make these available to you. You are literally paying cents on the dollar when you purchase these handouts! The small investment purchasing bundles backs my ability to create more handouts and resources for your practice! So, please support this handout initiative and the mission of Pelvic Health Resources to help providers like you achieve better patient outcomes and grow your practice! THANK YOU!
